SURF SELECT PROGRAM
The Surf Select program brings together the most talented players and coaches from all of Surf Nation to compete together under the Surf banner at the highest levels. Through a series of regional and national events, players within Surf Nation, will be selected to represent Surf Select in national and international competitions.
SURF SELECT REGIONAL TEAM
Washington East Surf SC is part of Northwest region which includes Glacier Surf, Idaho Surf, Missoula Surf, Montana Surf, Oregon Surf, and Western Washington Surf.
SURF SELECT NATIONAL TEAM
The top players from each Surf Select Regional Teams will represent their regions and attend the Surf Select National ID Camp. There will be representation from all 46 Surf clubs across United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Players selected to represent Surf Select National teams will compete in the top National and International events. Surf Select National teams have competed in Spain, England, Northern Ireland, and California just to name a few...
HOW DOES THE SELECTION PROCESS WORK?
Players go through a selection process - Club directors make the final recommendations and the players receive an invitation to attend Surf Select NW Regional Tryouts in January 2025.
High school players who are selected to represent the Northwest Regional Team will be recommended to the National Surf Select Staff for consideration for placement on the Surf Select National Blue and White teams.
2011 players will attend Champions League in San Diego for consideration for placement on Surf Select National Blue and White teams.
2012 - 2016 players who are selected to represent the Northwest Region will be nominated to attend the Surf Select National ID Camp in San Diego in February 2025.
High school players identified for Surf Select National Blue and White teams will be notified directly from the National staff.
Top 2011 players identified at Champions League will be notified directly by the National staff for a placement on Surf Select National Blue and White teams.
Top 2012-2016 players will be assessed at the National ID Camp and selected by the National staff for a placement on Surf Select National Blue and White teams. Players will be notified directly from the National staff.
Top players representing Surf Nation on Surf Select National Blue and Whtie teams will compete nationally and internationally representing Surf Nation.
